Good morning!
A couple months ago, my friend Jen made me download the Marco Polo app and, since then, I’VE BEEN LOVING IT.
I call it “Geriatric Snapchat.”
I know it’s been around for a while and I remember someone encouraging me to download it pre-pandemic but, at the time, it seemed silly to send videos back and forth when I could do that without an app?
But I’m here to say I’m a conformer.
I love it.
I freaking love it.
Some of you reading this may be on the receiving end of my morning videos. And others reading this may still need to download it (looking at you, Bhav!). Some have likely disregarded my invitation altogether because the automated message they send out when you try to invite someone seems super spammy.
BUT I PROMISE IT’S SO NICE.
It’s given me the opportunity to get back in touch with people I haven’t been in touch with in so long. I’ve used it as a way to connect with some of my women’s circle ladies and process some of the changes going on in our lives. I find myself craving that over use of any other social media apps. Because it allows for more connection and conversation.
It’s become a part of my morning routine.
It sounds so weird. But it’s been so lovely.
It’s like being able to FaceTime with some of your favorite people without the hassle of trying to align schedules.
Anyway, that’s all I’ll say about that.
But, probably if you’re in your 30s or older and can’t keep up with Snapchat, may I please recommend MP?
HIGHLY RECOMMEND. 5 OUT OF 5 STARS.
