Fun Facts Friday: Safety Patrol and Goddesses

It’s Friday! Of another long weekend. I can get used to this 3-4 day weekend thing. I’m a fan.

On to some weekly fun facts. And bullet points. Because at 6:30AM on a Friday, that’s my preferred form of communication.

1) We have this new Safety Patrol thing going on at school where the kiddos help out with dismissal.

It’s quite possibly the cutest thing I’ve seen in a LONG time.

2) My mom is here! And so, naturally, half of my apartment is in the dumpster. She likes to come “clutter-free” my life. Love her the most.

3) Next week is actually only a 3-day week for me. Because I’m going to Tahoe the weekend of the 11th! I’m so excited – it’s been over 20 years since I’ve been so I have NO idea what to expect. Let’s just hope there’s water in the lake. #DroughtProblems

4) I bought this dress from Anthropologie in three different colors. Teacher discount for the win!

5) I’ve been traveling with the goddess cards. They are a permanent feature in my purse. And they are pulled out ALL the time as I come across situations that I don’t want to tackle on my own.

Although it IS technically me who extracts meaning from the cards and develops my own reflection. But it’s nice to have the goddesses weigh in on how I should view or frame situations.

(I’m not weird. I promise.)
