1) Happy Friday! This particular Friday is especially nice because we’ve got Parent Conferences going on all day. Meaning no kiddos. Meaning I get some quality work time in. And the kids don’t come back until Wednesday. I’ve got some grand plans for what needs to get done during these 5 days. Let’s hope I can stick to it!
2) I just got back from the shady foot spa. Normally, it’s super relaxing. But, the guy who was giving me a massage basically elbowed me and pushed me around so now I feel like I have bruises everywhere.
3) It’s been two years since I first signed up for FourSquare. I used to love it. But then it became Swarm. Now I’m just eh about it.
4) I learned how to text message from my computer. I swear, this fancy cloud thing that connects all your devices to each other is AMAZING.
5) This is my current anthem right now. Mainly because I’m taking back my 20s. Duh.
6) Apparently it’s really important to have multiple babies because some of them might get lost.
I love my job.
7) All the leftover Halloween goodies have been making their way over to our staff room. Which is conveniently located next to my office.
I’m staying strong. Don’t you worry.
8) I am LOVING these Hemp Hearts I received in the mail recently. Manitoba Harvest makes these nutty little seeds that they call Hemp Hearts and they’re packed with protein and Omega 3s.
I used to top my oatmeal with them, but since the detox started, no grains allowed! So I’ve been adding them to my salads and they are so delicious. Not to mention they keep me full!
Manitoba Harvest is currently running a contest and the winner receives a 5 lb bag of Hemp Hearts (yes, 5 LBS). Thats a lot of seeds, my friends. To enter to win, you gotta get creative in the kitchen and tag @manitobaharvest, #hemphearts, and #sweatpink in your Instagram and/or Twitter post and you’ll automatically be entered. The contest deadline is November 30, 2014 so GET TO IT! You can also check out their website and get 20% off EVERYTHING with the code: HHSweatPink14
And then if that’s not enough to get you excited, the generous people at Manitoba Harvest offered to give one reader a smaller bag so you can try out the deliciousness for yourself!
To enter: leave a comment explaining how you’d use your hemp seeds!
[Edit: Contest Ended. Congratulations to Mario!]
