1) Eat Teach Blog got a makeover! I am absolutely in love with the simplicity and visual appeal of the blog. And I had absolutely nothing to do with it. Thanks to Kaye and Paulie over at Squeesome Design Studio, this blog is actually a lot more reader-friendly. I cannot recommend them enough for their affordable prices, creative designs, and prompt delivery. I’m thrilled about it. There are a few more minor things I’m going to want to change over time. But this was a good first step. And I’ll be sure to head back over to them when I do want to make additional changes!
2) It has officially been a week since I’ve been on “bed rest.” I’m not 100% but, man, there’s something to be said about taking the time to just REST. I don’t think I would have been able to do this if I didn’t come back home. I probably would have tried to go into work and that would have made things a lot worse.
3) I’ve been on antibiotics for over a week now. I’ve been off wine for over two weeks now. This has been difficult.
4) My friend, Roxana, who is doing her second year of TFA in Chicago, texted me a few days ago to let me know she’s also struggling with bronchitis. #teacherlife
5) I’ve spent a good chunk of my day trying to organize all my pictures and videos on my computer. I think I’ve actually made more of a mess than there was originally. Oops.
6) I think I’ve had more tea in the last two weeks than I’ve EVER had in my ENTIRE life. This stuff is growing on me….
7) I have two more days to fix myself. Wish. Me. Luck.

What do you think of the new design? Any recommendations?
Do you use some system/app to organize your pics/videos?
