Fun Facts Friday: [2/13/15]
HAPPY FRIDAY! And a Happy 3-Day-Weekend to those who get Monday off! Thank you Prezzies.
Today is Dress Down Day at work, where the kiddos don’t have to wear their uniforms. So, obviously, the teachers want in on the fun. Maybe I’ll just show up in my PJs.
I’m most efficient when I’m comfortable.
Anyway, enough with my early morning rambling. On to your regularly scheduled Friday post!
1) I still haven’t watched the series finale of Parenthood. Even though it aired two weeks ago. I’m in major denial. I also probably need to invest in at least 85 more boxes of Kleenex before I hit “Play” on that one.
2) Robert and Julia are MOVING BACK up north. I. Cannot. Wait. Also this:
Avery’s gonna be a big sister! Watch out, NorCal. Beautiful family coming through. <3
3) Book Club is next week! I am only 10% into Unbroken. Thank goodness for 3-day weekends!
4) I’ve been finding bobby pins all over the floor of my room. Anyone else?
5) I saw one of the 4th graders playing MASH earlier this week with their friends. It’s fun to see that some games are consistent generation after generation – no matter how cool technology gets.
6) I bought this scarf for $5 at Charlote Russe (yes, that store is still around). It’s probably the best $5 I’ve ever spent. I wear it ALL THE TIME now. It’s so warm and decorative.
7) I’ve been on an iTunes radio kick lately. Don’t get me wrong – I will never leave Pandora. But, iTunes has less commercials. So, sometimes when I’m being impatient, I use their app instead. Anyway, I heard this song for the first time and I AM IN LOVE. I downloaded their entire album.
8) This week, I’ve left work on time, if not earlier than usual. It’s really nice to be able to watch the sun go down – so many colors in the sky!
