First Week of Gymnastics

Happy snowy Friday.

I feel guilt staring outside my window, enjoying the view when people back in California have lost homes and entire communities.

I’ve been scrolling through videos and photos of the destruction and it’s so hard to see.

Shortly after I graduated from college, I worked for an after-school program. That entire school and surrounding schools and basically the entire community is burned down.

It’s so hard to wrap my head around.

I feel so sad for everyone. For our planet.

I don’t have much to say or share. Just going to do a photo dump of our week – mostly of the kiddos – of the things that pulled me out of the news coverage.

Our new dining table. It was quite the feat getting this on a windy, freezing day in Chicago. Everything was flying off the cart. It was an experience I will probably never forget. Ha.

Friends who get it. That’s it. That’s the caption.

My big kid back in the Cozy Ganoosh.

First week of Gymnastics. (Or – if you’re Ishu – “gernastics”)

Our last week with Auntie Sylvie who got a job in DC. We will miss her so much!

Ishu built a city.

These socks from Dadi are too cute.
The littles while the bigs did their tumbling class.

Envisioning this kid at school. He will be ready long before Ishu. He’s ready now. (But I’m not). Ha.

Okay, we are off to spend the morning with some friends.

Thinking and praying for my home state.
