Good morning! I got woken up by an almost 25-pound toddler sitting on my belly, pressing on my bladder. I wasn’t sure if it was the urge to pee that woke me up. Or the fact that his sticky feet were in my face. Either way, we were all up before Ankur’s alarm went off. (And that’s EARLY).
I’ve got one cup of coffee in my system and I can predict there will be one more in the near future.
Coffee makes me a happy little clam. I can’t believe there was a moment that I thought I’d give it up. I had stopped drinking it during my pregnancy because I had a slight aversion to it. But I’m actually pretty grateful for the slow start as we figure out what to do with our little monkey.
So, like I said, yesterday didn’t feel very different than the rest of our summer days. Playground hopping, building with blocks, reading books, and happy hour-ing with juice and smoothies.
If you ask me, it was a pretty solid first day of work. 🙂
