Today is our final (weekday) morning together. Ever since this little guy was born, I’ve spent all the mornings with him. Even on days when Auntie Bella was here, it’d typically start at 10am when my workday officially started.
So, all the mornings have been mine.
While I am ready ready ready for this newfound freedom for him (and for me), I am also aware that it’s ending so abruptly. And, so, yesterday, I tried to squeeze so many things in our morning.
From SAH-BUCKS to the “car park” to our walking game to the splash pad to the museum, we squeezed it all in before nap time. (And, MAN, did he nap). He gave me an uninterrupted 4 hours of work time because he was exhausted.
This morning, we are going to try to do something similar. Probably interrupted with lots of kisses because, again, I am excited but also, to quote Monica Geller, “IT’S THE END OF AN ERA.”
And then this evening, there’s a community carnival with face painting and bubbles and all the fun things. So we’ll head to that to kick off our weekend.
Happy Friday to everyone! Thank you for all the good wishes as we begin this new chapter! 🙂

There are a lot of mixed emotions reading this. Even though it’ll be tough for you three, it’s a start for new experiences, new routines, new structures, new relationships new friends and new learnings. Can’t wait to see our school-going Ishu. Love you sooooooo much! ❤️🙏❤️🙏
