The next time I write a post, it will be from a self-hosted blog! Baller. I will officially be making the transition tonight. Thank you #FitFluential for helping us all get motivated to jump aboard the self-hosting train.
Just wanted to quickly pop in to give an update on a 6-week holiday challenge I am participating in! The Elf For Health Holiday Challenge is being hosted by Lindsay and Elle. It sounded like so much fun and I could definitely use some motivation around the holidays! The challenge requires you to be an elf for someone and, in turn, they are an elf for you. As an Elf, you are expected to support your elf buddy with their holiday health goals and the daily challenges.
I think I lucked out and got a really cool elf for the first two weeks. Her name is Andrea and she blogs over at A Doctor in the House. She’s currently a third year medical student who is recently engaged! Talk about commitment, man. Med school, blogging, holiday challenges, AND newly engaged?! And I thought my life was crazy busy….
Anyway, I have been so excited about our e-mails and tweet exchanges. It’s nice to be motivated first thing in the AM! Our first challenge yesterday was Meatless Monday. I stuck to it the whole day.
Today’s challenge is to Send a card or handwritten note to a friend.
I LOVE this one. I just got a handwritten card in the mail the other day and it meant so much. Yes, e-mails are nice. But there’s something pretty amazing about getting snail mail! 😉
Watch your mailboxes friends. This may be a regular hobby of mine….
