Good morning! I’m chugging my coffee quickly this morning to get the caffeine running through my system. I was up late last night due to a combination of the crazy lightning and thunderstorms and watching this incredible man take the stage at the DNC.
“It’s not just a choice between parties or policies, the usual debates between left and right. This is a more fundamental choice about who we are as a people, and whether we stay true to this great American experiment in self-government.”
The Obamas are beautiful, engaging speakers. I have yet to hear a speech where I’m not brought to tears because their every word resonates with me so much. I’m with her. But I just want him for 4 more years.
He said last night, “If you’re serious about our democracy, you can’t afford to stay home just because she might not align with you on every issue.”
Democracy isn’t a spectator sport.
I am always proud that he is my POTUS.
I feel so lucky to live in this country with such a phenomenal leader.
Hillary’s got some pretty big shoes to fill. I’m looking forward to her presidency, but Obama will go down as one of the greatest presidents of all time.
I miss him already.
