Good morning!
I thought I wouldn’t have time to blog this weekend, but we’ve got some time before breakfast this morning so here we are.
First, I want to say that Ankur and I are young kids again and stayed out with the fam on the dance floor ’til it SHUT DOWN. And didn’t get to sleep ’til 2:30am.
So, yes, look at us.
Never could have imagined that happening, but wowie. (Shout-out to the grandparents who took the best care of Ishu and Dadi who cozied up with Ishu all night).
Going to share some photos from yesterday! We got to the hotel in the late afternoon and quickly scarfed down sammies, hugged and squished everyone, and then got ready for the evening events.
We got to quickly pop in and say hi to the bride as she was finishing up her mehndi, but the rest of the evening was spent over at Chauteau La Mer celebrating Arjun! Cocktails, dinner, and dance. And, yes, we definitely danced.
My feet are tired but my heart is so happy.
AND (ironically) I AM SO RESTED.
Okay, the child is awake, so maybe I don’t have that much time to share all the photos. But I will leave you with the BEST ONE OF THE NIGHT.
I mean, the BOWTIE.
LOOK AT THAT KID.
Okay, good day. Time to do it all over again!
