These are my confessions…
1) I’ve been reminiscing about my LA days a lot. Even though I was working full time AND going to school, it seems like my responsibilities weren’t as INTENSE. Or AS grown-up.
But, anyway, moving on to the confession portion.
I was reminded of the time when I was living with Hema in Culver City and I would occasionally pack our lunches in the morning. One time, when I thought I was being EXTRA hilarious, I packed her lunch + a can of beer. Needless to say, she was a bit surprised when she opened up her lunchbox at work.
In other news, I’m going to be the coolest mom. Gone are the days of crustless PB&J.
2) Speaking of peanut butter, remember my post from yesterday where I said I was going to curl up on the couch with my book and coffee in hand? I actually curled up on the couch but, instead, with a Yogurtland spoon and the last bits of the PB jar. Why a Yogurtland spoon you ask? Well, the spoon’s handle allows for more scoopage to occur in the bottom crevice of the jar that you can’t really access with a knife or the bowl of a spoon.
Are you impressed with my spoon terminology?
[Don’t be. I googled, “What do you call the parts of a spoon?” and this popped up.]
3) My last confession of the day isn’t really my confession to confess. But, I’m going to do it anyway. Because she’s my sister. And she’s forced to love me no matter how many secrets I spill.
It’s NOT a secret that I bring my hair straightener to work and comb through my hair a couple times to let the frizz out. People think I’m weird for it.
Well.
Let me introduce you to my sister.
She takes it to a whole new level.
Now I’m off.
To pack my lunch.
Sans beer.
[Being a grown-up is just not as fun.]
