These are my confessions…
[Just when I thought I said all I could say….]
1) At some point, unbeknownst to me, I became a dog person. The kind of dog person that likes to cuddle up and snuggle with their dog. The kind of person whose heart overflows – and nearly bursts – with love when they see their dog after a long time away. WHO AM I? What have I become?
2) Thanks to Hema’s love, persistence, and calendar invite reminders, I have FINALLY started doing BBG. On Monday, I had yoga. On Tuesday morning, I pushed Snooze one too many times. But last night, I did it. And I used my step-up ladder to do step-ups and knee-ups. Embarrassing. But innovative.
3) I’ve also become that old granny lady who forgets when she takes her vitamins, puts the milk in the pantry, and does ALL SORTS OF forgetful things. So, in order to remember everything, I made myself a tracker to check off the things I need to do in the morning before I leave for work and, again, before I go to bed at night. Slightly embarrassing so I taped it on the inside of my medicine cabinet.
4) Wondering where the inspiration for the hidden-medicine-cabinet tracker came from? Sometimes, because I’m such a scatterbrain in the morning, I do things like put my floss in the fridge.
5) I’ve still got Chester up. He was supposed to lay to rest after the Christmas Party on Friday. But he just smells so good. I can’t. I’ve justified it by taking off the Christmas lights and pretending he’s just a plant I water every once in a while.
And the real juicy stuff that I’ve never told anyone until today?
6) One time, in Kindergarten, during circle time, I peed my pants because I was too afraid to ask to use the restroom. So, while everyone else transitioned back to their desks after the ABCs, I stayed on the carpet because I didn’t want anyone to see my ring of pee.
