Confessions of a BloggerHolic #38

Another day, another cup of coffee.

Anyone else stay up late watching the VP debate? #Stressful #BringBackLesterHolt

It probably would have been more bearable if I had a glass of vino in hand, but, unfortunately, I’m trying to be good and track every single point on my WW app. And, given that I had 6 points left for dinner, no vino was had. But we did celebrate National Taco Day!

I’ll be continuing the taco celebrations with leftovers at lunch. I love when my lunch is already made. It lets me ease into my day nice and slowly. And it also lets me sit down and write this blog post without simultaneously cutting tomatoes.

So, let’s get started with the weekly CONFESSIONS post. Because I’ve got lots to confess.

Confession #1:

garlic doritos

I spent nearly 45 minutes trying to find these garlic Doritos online in an effort to get them shipped here and IN MY BELLY. After visiting multiple websites to see if they’d ship, I found out they are only selling them in Japan for a short amount of time. I was absolutely crushed. If anyone from the Frito-Lay company reads this blog, please consider selling these in America. I will buy ALL THE BAGS. I love garlic.

Confession #2:

step class

I’ve been trying to get lots of water in my system over the past few days to attempt to flush out the weekend festivities. This means I have to run to the bathroom all the time. I really had to go to the bathroom before Step Class but I purposely held out until halfway through the class when I knew I would need a break. Strategic.

Confession #3:

I went grocery shopping after work yesterday. And, as always, when I shop while I’m hungry, I buy unnecessary things. Well, I was slightly embarrassed of my chocolate pudding purchase so I waited until Ankur left the kitchen before putting the groceries in the fridge. I put the pudding all the way in the back – out of sight…or so I thought. But I was busted. So, I figured I’d spill the beans on the blog too. I LOVE CHOCOLATE PUDDING.

  1. I GIGGLE I keep waiting for them (who ever them is? :)) to kick me out of texas as I CANNNNOT STAND TACOS.
    But I made em anyway.
    For the fam 🙂

  2. I always buy unnecessary things when I’m hungry and I usually am. But I try not to go grocery shopping when I’m hungry because that can get ugly at the checkout. haha

  3. Oh my those Doritos sound so interesting!! I LOVE chocolate pudding 🙂 And I definitely should be increasing my water take (and exercise to be honest)!

  4. The VP debate was held at my alma mater! So fun to see such a little school get a big break. I ALWAYS shop hungry- hence why I have my Hubs do the shopping, keep me away from the chip aisle.

  5. Those Doritos look really interesting! I just stick to Cheesy Jalapeno. Japan does come up with the most amazing flavours for familiar products. Have you tried Green Tea KitKat? YUM.

  6. Those black Doritos, though! I would actually like to try those! My favorite Dorito flavor is the regular cheese one. I’m a simple girl with simple tastes… LOL! And of course chocolate pudding! Because chocolate!

  7. Oh I definitely love pudding-and buy the lower fat variety-I really can’t tell the difference. Of course with the whipped cream—(fat free). I also love jello and I can’t tell the difference between the sugar free and regular–I consider jello to be one of the major food groups!

  8. I am sure we can find garlic chips here in USA.
I’ll search after my comment and if I find it, will post it here.
    Good night for now.
Look forward to your tomorrow morning blog Divpiv.

  9. Well here I am again sharing what I found on TJ website.
It’s the baked pita bread chips with real Parmesan cheese, garlic & parsley.

  10. I love that light-hearted humour of yours. Black Doritos…well, you’ll just have to take a holiday to Japan where I’m sure they serve green tea infused chocolate pudding. These confessions are way more important than the VP debate 🙂
