Beets Blue Heart Rate Monitor and Pager Tag

This post was supposed to go out around Christmas time with a gift guide of some sort. But with the celebrations, the traveling, and the past week of snowstorm craziness, it’s going out today instead.

Only a month late.

Oops.

HOWEVER, I’m the biggest advocate of extending Christmas until the end of January. So, technically, this post is ON TIME. Also, it’s never too late to buy a present for someone you love. Or, more importantly, for yourself.

And these items are worth having. If you’re anything like me.

Beets Blue Wireless Heart Rate Monitor

WINS:

  • Comfortably fits around the chest
  • Syncs with iOS phones (iPhone 5, 4S) and select Android devices
  • Syncs directly to your workout apps (e.g. Runkeeper, Map My Run).
  • Accurate data tracking (I tested it using my Polar Heart Rate Monitor at the same time).

Beets Blue Pager Tag

WINS:

  • Bluetooth Key finder that works BOTH ways. The key will find your phone. The phone will find your key. (If you’re a scatterbrain like me, THIS IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL).
  • The key finder can, alternatively, be used as a “pager tag.” It’s thin enough to be stuck in a wallet in case yours goes missing as often as mine does.

Once you download the app, you can click a button and send an alert to the object that it’s attached to. It’s simple. And it’s worked every single time. I have a tendency to leave my stuff all around school throughout the school day – my keys included. Now, all I have to do is click the button and I either 1) hear it under a pile of my crap or 2) have a teacher walk in waving their keys in my face, saying “Look what I found…again.”

You will never lose your keys again. You’re welcome.

Question of the Day:

  • What would you put your Pager Tag on? Your keys? Your phone? Your child?

Disclosure: I was offered the Beets products in exchange for a blog review. As always, my thoughts and opinions are my own. Based on my own experience.
