Yesterday was the first day of Tina’s Best Body Bootcamp. As I mentioned before, I’m really excited to develop a new routine that I was so desperately in need of. And after completing Day 1, I can already tell that it is going to be challenging.
Yesterday’s workout was a combination of interval training and a total-body superset workout. The whole workout just seemed to speed by. That’s what I love about the way that it’s structured. Even if there may be a particular exercise that is ridiculously challenging, I know it’ll be over and I’ll be moving on to the next one within minutes. But I can definitely feel the effects of it already.
On another note, I’ve recently discovered the crock pot and the MAGICAL POWERS that it has (please excuse my 20-year delay). Thanks to my sister-in-law, I’ve suddenly become Martha Stewart in the kitchen. Okay, I may be exaggerating. But I made some damn good chicken.
I threw in two chicken breasts, a jar of salsa, zucchini, squash, broccoli, and a can of corn. Topped with a few jalapenos and 1/2 cup of chicken broth. I let it sit in there overnight and I wake up to my apartment smelling like El Torito and a WONDERFUL lunch prepared.
Needless to say, I was really excited. I wanted to try the magical crockpot chicken. But I didn’t realize that it would be HOT. Long story short, my tongue is burned. (Don’t worry, it still tastes delicious despite losing 100 tastebuds).

Yay for BBB! I’m super excited to be joining in on Bootcamp this round and loved the first day’s workout. Like you said, it was challenging but in a good way. And I think that I finally need to jump on the crockpot bandwagon. It looks great!

Yes – jump on the wagon. Because I don’t think I’ve ever made something so delicious! And all I did was throw things in a pot!
