Three-day weekends bring me so much happiness.
They allow me to get the rest and relaxation I need after a crazy week. And they leave me with a day to get life things done and prepare for the week ahead.
I guarantee other teachers are with me on this one. 3 days of weekend and 4 days of instruction would lead to BETTER teaching and, subsequently, better learning.
I didn’t take too many pictures this weekend.
I spent a lot of it resting, relaxing, and [mentally] preparing for the week ahead.
[Yes, making a stop at Picchetti IS considered mental preparation!]
Now, I’ve got about an hour before I have to head out for work so I’m going to curl up on the couch with my journal, listen to the rain fall, and get some caffeine in my system.
Happy short week! 🙂
Questions of the Day:
- Did you get Monday off? What did you do this weekend?
- What’s one thing you’re looking forward to this week?
